About Me
I got my PhD from the Department of Computer Science, University of Maryland, College Park. Before coming to the United States, I was studying/working in Department of Computer Science, Alexandria University, Egypt, where I graduated with B.Sc. degree in Computer Science (ranked 3rd). I received M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park.

I worked as a research assistant with Prof. Ashok Agrawala and as a member of Maryland Information and Network Dynamics Laboratory (MIND).

Research Interests
Wireless networks, ad-hoc and sensor networks, vehicular networks, enterprise wireless network managements, efficient cross layer designs, smart antenna protocols, peer-to-peer systems, pervasive computing, location determination systems, and social networks.
